Car offered at the below link, note that S838119DN is a DHC VIN, this listing may be a typo or perhaps a rebodied car.:

Seller's description:

1959 Jaguar XK 150

3.4-Litre Fixed Head Coupé

Oldtimer Galerie Toffen

Year of manufacture 1959

Chassis number S838119DN

Condition Original Condition

Our XK 150 with a 210 hp 3.4-litre engine and 4-speed gearbox with overdrive was probably delivered to Canada and first registered there in 1959. Its history across the pond is unknown, but the Jaguar was apparently fitted with an identical replacement engine from a 3.4-litre saloon and has been restored once. The sporty coupé was probably imported to Switzerland in 2012. After its arrival, the Jaguar underwent extensive preparation for its initial inspection here – the brakes were completely overhauled, the fuel tank and fuel pump were replaced, and the car was fitted with a stainless-steel exhaust system. At the beginning of 2019, the XK was taken over by a dealer, who sold it to the consignor in June of that year. Since then, the attractive convertible has not been driven even 1’000 km. The Jaguar is currently in good to very good condition and will be handed over to a new enthusiast fresh from servicing and its last veteran MOT dating from May 2019. For a Swiss buyer, the vehicle will be freshly presented after the auction.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
