Offered for sale in New Zealand asking $165,000. Noted as now sold.
This 1958 XK150 Drop Head was delivered new into Canada before being imported to New Zealand in 1995. It underwent a full restoration on arrival.
The 150 being the last of the XK range allowed for more space in the cockpit and came with four-wheel disk brakes from new. Being a Drop Head Coupe gives you the best of both worlds with a fully enclosed cabin for colder days and then with one simple move you can open it up and enjoy top-down motoring. The perfect touring car.
The car currently shows 69500 miles with most of its NZ miles being on Jaguar Club events. Maintained to a very high standard, today it presents very well showing little to no wear in the interior. The fabric on the hood looks new. The paint and chrome are immaculate and the engine has just had a full service including the installation of new timing chains.
It comes with a complete paperwork file that traces right back to the original purchase receipt and factory guarantee from Toronto in 1958.
Just out of long-term ownership this car is ready to enjoy reliable summer motoring. You could not restore a car to this condition for the price being asked. It’s the ideal all round English sports car that will provide years of enjoyment and be a great edition to any garage.
