Probably the fastest XK 120 in existence, yes that is quite a statement, but I would welcome anyone or car to contest it. A remarkable motorcar, outstanding performance, Jim Tester Chassis, Quaife competition gearbox, LSD, Dunlop brake calipers, built to the current racing XK rules.
Simply stunning, new tyres, fully serviced and the quickest XK at Shelsley Walsh. Built to the higest of standards by Guy Broad who is the best XK man in the world.
It is fully road registered and would be huge fun on many of the European events and hillclimbs including track events. F. I. V. A. papers current.
The car is in absolutely ready to go condition and upon sale will be given 12 months mechanical warrant with us at Lynx Engineering. Please visit us at Lynx Motors international.

Car returns to auction 4/26
angliacarauctions.co.uk/auctions/2752-11-Apr-2026/13929~2-1959-jaguar-xk150-fhc
Auction description:
Sat 11 & Sun 12 April
1959 JAGUAR XK150 FHC
Estimate: £48,000 - £56,000
V5 present
MoT date: 08/03/2027
Chassis number: S824935DN
Engine size: 3442cc
This Jaguar XK150 reportedly cost over £200k to build – a figure which we're told would be nearer £300k if built today. It's powered by a 4.2-litre Grace engine which uses forged 10.5:1 pistons, steel conrods, a big-valve head and race-spec D-type cams. This is mated to a Quaife 5-speed transmission via an aluminium flywheel, and fuelled by a Holley high-flow pump from an aluminium tank.
The car sits on a chassis built by Tester Racing & Engineering, with a full T45 lightweight welded-in roll cage, and full aluminium alloy bodywork and hardtop. Underneath is a 6-link rear axle and Watts linkage, and the engine is mounted lower and further back than standard for better weight distribution. The steering uses a high-ratio Woodward rack with a collapsible column, and the brake calipers are Girling alloy items, as per Lister Jaguar.
It comes with an advisory-free MoT which is valid to 8th March 2027, and the odometer is showing only 24 miles. The history file amounts to a Heritage Certificate, original stamped serial number plaque, and previous & current V5Cs which give the date of first registration as 11th June 1959. The current keeper acquired the car in 2017, and there is only 1 previous keeper recorded.
