This 1957 Jaguar XK140 Roadster is a highly sought-after MC model with matching numbers. Green with black interior. An extremely original black-plate California car in need of straightforward restoration. Just out of a collection where it has been sitting in storage and is not currently running. This Jaguar is among the desirable Special Equipment or SE models, as denoted by the S prefix to the chassis number. This example was also fitted with the optional C-Type cylinder head, which increased engine output to a stout 210 bhp. In all, approximately 2,028 left-hand-drive XK140 Roadsters were factory equipped with both the SE package and C-Type head, a combination often referred to as the MC model.
