According to the Jaguar Daimer Heritage Trust, this XK150 open 2-seat roadster was dispatched from Coventry to Jaguar Cars, New York on November 26, 1958, leaving the works in cream over black leather upholstery. This car came with the highest-performance option available at the time, the 3.4-liter 'S' engine, introduced in 1958. Equipped with a straight-port head, 9:1 compression pistons, dual exhaust, and triple SU carburetors this car additionally features the 4-speed manual gearbox with Laycock de Normanville overdrive, as denoted by the 'DN' suffix in the serial number.
