Sellers description:
1959 XK150 "S" 3.4 lhd Roadster. This car has been professionally restored to factory specifications by my company LBD Imports LLC This car comes with a clear Florida title, and a heritage certificate. Chassis# t831517dn body# f16516 engine#vs1473-9 gearbox# jls42152cr This Jaguar is numbers matching except for the block which was replaced with another xk150 engine. This jaguar has been restored to its original color combinations of old english white with blue interior. The restoration was done with the body on the chassis. The chassis was cleaned thoroughly and then it was painted black. I didn't have the engine rebuilt because the car ran strong, and each cylinder was putting out 150psi. I had the cylinder head professionally rebuilt because the head was a little noisy. The carbs were also fully rebuilt and tuned. Furthermore I put on a new starter, generator, water pump, oil pump, and I had the radiator record. I also had a new gas tank installed and gas tank sending unit, as well as two fuel pumps. I also put 4 new dayton 60 spoke wire wheels as well as 4 new coker classis tires. I had the entire front end redone, new bushings, shocks, brake calipers, brake shoes, brake hoses, rotors, upper ball joints, lower ball joints, steering rack. I had the rear brake hoses replaced as well as the rear shocks. Furthermore I replaced the rear brake shoes. The transmission shifts smoothly and the electronic overdrive works. I installed a new clutch kit in the transmission. The rear posi works fine and we just added new fluid. The bodywork on this jaguar is nice. I would call it a high level driver or show. All of the exterior chrome was rechromed to a high standard. The paintwork looks great shiny, and the body work is nice. The interior has been completly redone. The seats were professionally done with blue connelly leather. The interior kit looks really nice. All of the interior chrome has been replated. The convertible top looks good and it fits nice. All of the gauges were professionally rebuilt, and they all work. This car is ready for road rallies or car shows. This car had a total production of 1,000 units. I'm going to set the first bid at 10,000 with a reasonable reserve.

car on silverstone auction:
www.silverstoneauctions.com/1958-jaguar-xk150-s-roadster
This, left-hand drive XK150S is recorded as having been built at Browns Lane on the 8th October, 1958 and was shipped to its new owner, Mr R.A.Leftwich in the USA in November of that year. Its most recent owner was a lucky Dane by the name of Jorgen Anderson Stoffer who was its custodian from 2008 until 2015.
Fitted with a manual gearbox with overdrive, this 1958 Open Two Seater, 3.4S is finished in gleaming Old English white with dark blue leather, matching carpets and a dark blue hood, all of which appear to be in very good condition. A rare set of matching blue leather Jaguar suitcases fit snugly in the boot. The Chrome Wire Wheels look excellent as does the rest of the chrome and all of the fitted brightwork. The engine bay is clean and tidy and every aspect of the car appears to have been cared for.
The accompanying Jaguar Heritage Certificate confirms this a matching numbers car and it is currently Danish registered. A lovely XK.
