Ebay item 9/12/14
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XK-XK150S-Jaguar-1959-XK150S-Roadster-/191325622512
Current bid $10,100 reserve not met 3 bids 9 days left in auction. 55k miles.
Sellers description:
We just received this car in and it was previously in dry storage since 1985. The car originally went to the Carolinas where it spent most of it's life and the body really shows it that it was in a warm climate. There are no signs of an accident or any rust repairs. The underneath of this car looks excellent. It is an excellent candidate for restoration. The previous owner bought a new soft top for the car, but never fully installed it. Unfortunately the original engine had been lost somewhere in it's life. The previous owner located another XK150S 3.4 engine, which is very close in number to the original, photos of the engine showing the stamped number on it. The replacement engine's block and head have the same number.

This car 831504 was shipped from the factory on about 12 November 1958 on the MV Diamant from London to Antwerp, then transhipped on the MV Werratal from Antwerp to Miami, as part of group of 19 XK150s. Radio - not fitted. Whitewalls - fitted. CWW not specifically noted - therefore presumed not fitted. All 3.4S cars had LSD (This info came from shipping files at JDHT which are available for only a handful of XKs in my experience.)
