Sellers description:
1960 Jaguar XK-150. I bought this car when I was in college, in 1980. To my knowledge, I am the third owner. The drive train is all original. The car is drivable and with minimal effort, can be made into a fun daily driver. Conversely, it is ready to be fully restored to concourse condition. It runs like a champ, and I have had to do very little to it to keep it on the road. I stopped driving it regularly, because I was concerned it might get damaged. It has never been wrecked, and as you surely know, a wrecked car is worth a lot less than one that has never had serious damage. It is for this reason, also, that I am selling it. I have a few vintage vehicles, all of which I drive, or am putting into condition to drive. Since I no longer drive this one, I figured it was time to sell.

It has some great features, concerning repairs that have been made. It sports new chrome Dayton wire wheels with stainless spokes, new hubs (many of you know what happens when hub splines eventually strip), the brake calipers have been sleeved in brass by White Post Restorations, it has a relatively new leather interior and fabric headliner, most of the chrome parts have been rechromed in Detroit, and I recently put new rear shocks in it. Also, check out the curly maple dash!

For the last 16 years it has been kept in a climate controlled garage, and all of the pictures you see were taken this year. I have had a professional appraisal/evaluation done on the car by an International Vehicle Appraisers Network appraiser. The car is licensed and has current insurance.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
