The Jaguar XK 140 on offer is a nice coupe in "Cream" color. As per the Jaguar Heritage certificate, it was delivered new in New York late 1956, in this same exterior color. Its current owner, an epicurean and automobile enthusiast, acquired it in July 2013, falling under the spell of its curves during a visit to Pierre Collin's Cécil Cars workshops. The previous owner, also French, had owned it since 1999, the car having an English provenance. It is now fitted with a 3.4L 6-cylinder block from an XK 150. Regularly used, the car participated in Tour Auto in 2016, which it completed without any technical issues. Before the Rally, it was entrusted to Ateliers Arès to make it more reliable. More than 13,000 € was thus invested in 2016 and on this occasion, this XK received an auxiliary fan as well as disc brakes at the front. More recently, it was maintained by the Aumonier garage near Niort. On the cosmetic side, the car has a very interesting patina which makes it unique and endearing. Its general state of presentation bears witness to the kilometers traveled, and without being perfect, the overall effect is homogeneous. Its black leather upholstery with red piping, restored in the past, is also in good condition. It is because of a lack of space that the current owner wishes to part with it. In an interesting state of preservation, this XK, on offer without reserve, should attract fans with its authenticity, its performance and the warm welcome it should receive in all historic clubs or rallies.
