    He write about the car:

1955 Jaguar XK-140MC OTS roadster, Complete ground up restoration of a numbers matching car ( heritage certificate ). Converted to a 5 speed and equipped with an alternator. All the original parts are included with the sale. New chrome Dayton wires with Coker radial wide whites. An excellent restoration that drives as good as it looks. Body work professionally done and all mechical components were rebuilt or replaced. Convertble top and side curtains still need to be covered but all the parts are there. Side curtain frames and latches have been replated.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
