Ebay item 3/23/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-Other-leather-/251889543616
Car has a buy it now price of $149,000 for 6 days.

Sellers description:
This beautiful historic vehicle restoration has just been completed. The gauge shows 388 miles only. The car was restored as accurately as possible based on all available information. The color is navy blue but appears more purple in the photos. It is much more elegant in person. Everything is new OEM or restored. Fuse panel cover was removed for photos and will be installed. The car is a factory manufactured world speed record replica with dash plaque certification. We are very proud of this vehicle, its rebuild quality and performance. We wish to sell it but do not wish to have critical comments by enthusiasts with no buying credentials. We have wasted too much time on unqualified buyers on previous vehicles. This is not a fire sale so please be fair with any offer and ask questions you may have. The car can be inspected which we would suggest.

Additional description from above auction:
Lot 156
Pebble Beach 2015
The Roadster on offer is a rare US-market MC model that was fitted with wire wheels, dual exhausts, fog lights, and the 210 bhp C-Type head for only $295 over the base $3,745 price. This car has recently undergone a comprehensive ground-up restoration and is finished in an attractive dark blue with a tan leather interior. The Jaguar has seen very little use since its restoration was completed and today it makes a strong presentation in all respects, even down to the small details, such as a proper tool kit and owner's manual.

A lovely example of the improved second-generation XK, this rare MC Roadster is ready to take its new owner on a journey to the ultimate in open-air motoring.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
