Car returns to ebay 2/2/12 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XK120-Drop-Head-Coupe-/190635441951
Current bid $17,600 reserve not met, 16 bids 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This XK 120 drop head coupe is one of the prettiest models that Jaguar produced. This car came from the factory as British Racing Green with a tan interior. It has been sitting in dry storage for at least 30 years. I can't find rust anywhere on the car. This XK120 is pretty much complete, it is missing the normal missing parts like the tools and jack. It is also missing the heater core. As you can see in the pictures of the interior the door panels are missing and the soft top canvas is missing. All the important parts are there though. The engine was rebuilt in 1991 and it turns freely. Of course the car needs to be gone through and checked due to sitting so long. For instance the brakes, the ignition system, cooling system, etc. The frame is in super nice condition making this a great candidate for restoration.
Previous auction ended at $9,433 reserve not met after 27 bids.
