This car is described in the book "Collecting Jaguar" by Keith Martin. Described as having had a dubious restoration and sold at Coy's auction in '97 for $28k.

A short discussion of the history of the car is provided in the June 2013 edition of the XK Gazette. Current UK owner is seeking its US history.

As the owner of this car, any comments/information on it would be most welcome.
I am currently restoring it to it's original specification. The bodywork has just been completed and it is being delivered to the paint shop where it will be restored to original colour before re-trimming.
If anyone knows of any previous owners or history please leave it on the forum.
