    Ebay item 5/3/11
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-1954-XK120-Roadster-/160581821573
Current bid $3,383 reserve not met, 6 bids 8 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
This 1954 XK120 open two seater is a special equipment model, which indicates the engine had a C-type head. This car went to get restored many years ago and somewhere in it's life the body was taken off the chassis and somehow got used for another car or got lost. What you see is what you get - a rolling and steering chassis. The chassis is in super nice condition. It is not a matching number car. The engine is out of a 1954 Jaguar, but is not the one on the commission plate. The nice thinkg about this engine though is it had a new replacement head put on it back in the sixties and they did not stamp the head. You can stamp the head to any number you want after you finish the car. I do have a few pieces that go with the car that are not shown in the pictures. For instance a boot lid, a passenger side door and some interior panels that fit in the engine compartment. Have a clear Pennsylvania title and there is a picture of the commission plate.
