Ebay item 11/1/05 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $15,000.00 (Reserve met), 8 bids, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
his is a 1954 XK 120 MC It is a great car to restore very sound and free of accidents (no bends or crumples) The solid with only a few rust areas such as back of trunk sills and bottom of one fender. Last run about 8 years ago the car went down because the wiring was flaking apart and shorting out - last work at the time was having the mastercylender re sleaved by White Post. Always intender to get back to it never did. But I did buy some parts.
The car has a 2.4 sedan engine in it and the origional 2.8 is in the shead - I got it with the 2.4 in it and ran it that way. I pickled the 2.8 about 20 years ago and set in the shead. All numbers on the 2.8 and car are correct I have a letter from Jaguar that said the car was origionally gray?green. To accomidate the 2.4 some one had to cut a notch in the back sill of the motor compartment - but this is easly corrected.
The good news is it is a very solid origional car with some extra parts such as new wiring harnes, ball joints engine springs water pump gas tank float and transmitter, rear light housings,
Spare parts include a good original top frames, marginal side curtains, original tool roll with I think 2 tools missing, some manafolds and used bumperets, nuts bolts and other parts.
The bad news is that it requires restoration, wheels are apparently stuck Brake pads to drums, most gages need work (there are some extras), a small ant colony requires relocation.
Car will need to go out on flat bed.

Car returns to ebay 2/16/18 www.ebay.com/itm/1954-Jaguar-XK/142690394215
Current bid: $29,000 reserve not met, 8 bids 6 days left in auction, seller tr36, car now said to be in Kensington, Maryland, 54k miles.
Sellers description:
Very solid "great bones" 1954 XK120 SE, OTS - with very straight undamaged panels. As you can see the car will need restoration and has been off the road many years. The matching numbers motor was rebuilt by RC Automotive in Capital Heights, Maryland by "Roy" the only man to drag race the big Jag 6! The panels are quite solid, but as shown the sills and rear lower battery tray panel are a rust problem. The spare tire tray is in usable shape but rear most lip is rusty. The doors open and close properly. The instrument panel is complete, the steering wheel is in good shape, the seats are old but would be usable if desired. The windscreen is complete with good chrome. Completing the interior is old vinyl trim for a pattern or to drive ugly! The soft top frame is complete and usable as is, I even have the real glass rear window ! There are side curtains in pretty good shape - the key is in the ignition - this ole gal wants to get on the road!
