This XK120M Roadster is presented in the classic combination of Old English white over a gorgeous deep burgundy leather interior. Subject of a world-class nut-and-bolt restoration by a respected East coast restoration shop about 10 years ago, this XK120 has been lovingly maintained and enjoyed ever since. Over 20 years in the restoration business has taught us that the cars that get proper use make the best drivers and this XK120 is no exception.

The previous owner used this car regularly in a warm southern climate and it is one of the sweetest driving XK120's we've experienced. Out on the road it is solid and extremely well planted. A 5-speed TKO gearbox is currently fitted and allows for slick, fully synchronized shifting as well as a tall overdrive for relaxed and reliable cruising on the open road. The correct original 4-speed Moss gearbox is included in the sale. Brakes, steering and suspension are all functioning perfectly and this is an exemplary driving XK120M.

As with the chassis, the engine was rebuilt during the restoration and is still sweet and crisp. There is a healthy bark from the stainless steel exhaust - one of the best sounds in the whole automotive world! Startup is clean and smooth with no smoke or excessive cranking. Once warm, oil pressure and temperatures remain steady and at healthy levels. The tall overdrive means both the driver and the engine can relax during long interstate cruises.

The beautiful burgundy leather interior is in excellent condition and after a decade of sympathetic use, displays a wonderful patina. The matching Wilton wool carpets are in excellent condition as is the Stayfast Canvas folding top. The entire cockpit is a warm and inviting place to spend a day!
