This 1954 Jaguar XK120 roadster is a left-hand drive Special Equipment example which remained with its late previous owner for 43 years. The car is finished in white over brown leather and powered by a 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox, also featuring Special Equipment wire wheels and dual exhausts. This XK120 is offered by the selling dealer on behalf of the previous owner’s estate with an owner’s manual, tire foot pump, knock-off hammer, tonneau cover, side curtains, and clean Washington State title.

The exterior wears a repaint that is believed by the seller to have been carried out approximately 30 years ago in the car’s original color. The finish is presented in the photo gallery below and is said to show various scratches and chips. Areas of rust are seen on the sheet metal inside the trunk near the spare wheel. The seller states no accident damage has been indicated during the car’s time with its late owner.

Painted 16” wire wheels with knock-off hubs were a factory feature on SE models and are mounted with older whitewall tires. A tan tonneau cover and side curtains are included and pictured in the gallery below, though no soft top is present.

The cabin is trimmed in brown leather with matching carpeting, and is said to have been refreshed around 12 years ago. Lap belts have also been added. Smiths instrumentation includes a 140 mph speedometer and a 5-digit odometer showing approximately 56k miles. According to the seller all of the gauges function, as does turn signal cancellation.

Head stamping #F1746-8S is shown above and matches the engine number on the data tag pictured in the gallery below. A partial engine block number is also shown along with a head casting sequence stamp. The S preceding the chassis number as well as the S at the end of the engine number indicate the car came from the factory as one of the lower-production Special Equipment models.
