Sellers description:
Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1953 Jaguar XK120 SE Roadster in Aubergine with Biscuit leather and Tan Canvas top and side curtains. Matching #'s big valve engine with a 5 speed transmission that was installed during its resoration at XK's Unlimited 10 years ago. I understand its done around 9,000 miles since. Part of a big collection and built to drive in the Colorado Grand Road Rally which its done twice ( hence the 5 speed gearbox) It has an additional electric cooling fan with on/off and auto setting switch. This 120 is absolutely dialed in and is a delight to drive. Superb body and paint. Very nice under the hood and the trunk. Driver quality, rust free underside. You probably couldn't be given one and make it this nice for the price. Drive it or collect it - you can't go wrong! Engine # F12538-S Body # F6695.
