Ebay item 5/7/11 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1954-Jaguar-XK120-OTS-Convertible-Restored-Calif-Car-/13 ...
Current bid $45,300 reserve not met, 7 bids 8 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Left Coast Classics offers this restored 1954 Jaguar XK120 OTS for sale. This car was beautifully restored about 11 years ago. The previous owner had purchased a brand new 1998 Jaguar XK8 in these exact colors and commissioned a professional Jaguar restoration shop to complete a high-end frame-on restoration to match the new car. This was begun in 1998 and completed a year or so later. The car has had no more than a few hundred miles since completion but the same shop has maintained it regularly and it was properly stored.
The car is turn-key and ready for regular use. The restoration is absolutely beautiful and looks fantastic. The paint is incredibly smooth. Eleven years ago this was an $18,000 paint job. The car was originally silver and was stripped to bare metal. The paint is amazingly glossy and smooth. Fabulous panel alignments with tidy nooks and crannies. The leather interior is supple, soft and pliable. The car starts, runs and drives beautifully with smooth shifting, agility, tight suspension nice brakes and that fantastic Jaguar purrrrr! The motor was gone through as well at that time. The car has a newer style fuel pump, electronic ignition and electrical fan installed and it was converted to negative ground. Of course all of these items can be reversed easily by the new owner if you so desire.

Sellers description:
Matching Numbers 1954 Jaguar XK120 convertible. I have owned this vehicle for approximately four years. It was restored by a previous owner 15 years ago to match a 1998 Jaguar. Never one to take a perfectly beautiful car and be happy with it, I wanted to take it back to the original cream exterior and red interior colors and entered into a restoration that has snowballed into something much bigger than I expected.
This XK 120 is a great project. We have stripped it down to bare metal and completely disassembled it. Original engine has been machined and is ready for reassembly. This full restoration now needs to be completed. Thankfully, all parts are there for the entire vehicle, it just needs to be reassembled. Please refer to the pictures.
We have a Jaguar Heritage certificate on the vehicle and receipts showing the work done so far in this restoration.
(Photo of vehicle in 2011 before we started the restoration is also included)
The car is located in Indianapolis Indiana and available for view if you are in the area.

The commentary says this car was originally silver, also mention of a JHT heritage certificate. Since silver wasn’t a standard offering tor the 1954 model year - no metallic colour was, in fact - adding a scan of the certificate would be helpful.
