I saw this car today (5/2/08) in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina where it is being offered at a sealed bid benefit auction. It looks much the same as in the pictures above. It has a Heritage Certificate. The data plate, engine and body numbers are correct. The gearbox number according to the plate is JL15295, but I didn't confirm that it is still in place.

1953 Jaguar XK120 OTS This Jaguar is a lovely example just out of long term ownership. This is a matching numbers unit that shows very, very well. It’s a older restoration that was done in the early 2000s and the previous owners has over $130k into the effort. Being an older restoration, it has been driven and enjoyed. This is not a garage queen and shows some “patina” from use. I would describe it as a strong #2 car.
