Ebay item 12/13/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-xk140-Coupe-Jaguar-xk140-Coupe_W0QQitemZ140189759 ...
Current bid $15,883.00 reserve not met, 18 bids, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
In 1980 the car had a complete engine rebuild then was stripped to bare metal. Any rust issues were addressed by replacing the metal (no bondo) and was completely painted the correct color black. It was then put into storage. All the hard work has been done just needs putting back together. The engine turns by hand and it is a complete matching number car that is extremely solid and rare with great value potential.

I have probably missed some items and I know for sure the door panels will need remanufacturing and other items will need restoring

What the seller neglected to say, was that the car was not painted on the inside, and that it is a rust bucket. Not only will the door panels need remanufacturing, the entire interior will need remanufacturing, or it needs to be replaced. Of the long list above, only the front bumper is useable. The fotos look nice, but the seller delivered to the port through a sandstorm, so the paint needs to be redone. The glass is scratched, the chrome is pitted, the interior looks as though the car had sad in a field for some 20 years with the windows down. As for the engine being rebuilt - pull the other one - the engine hasnt been touched for donkeys. I include fotos for the world to see what a sad state the poor thing is in. It is now near Brno in the Czech Republic and I may get round to restauring it in 2014. "The hard work has been done and it just needs putting back together" - what a liar.
