The ad reads:

I THINK THE MILEAGE ON THE SPEEDO WAS IN THE 50'S.I DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL MOTOR. I DO HAVE THE ORIGINAL # MATCH GEARBOX.THE MOTOR FOR THE CAR IS A REBUILT,BUT NOT ASSEMBLED 3 1/2 LITRE #A2956-8 WITH THE SAME # ON THE HEAD. I THINK IT IS FROM A MARK 7 ALSO CALLED A 3.4 THE BLOCK,HEAD,CRANKSHAFT AND RODS WHERE REDONE. NEW PISTONS TOO.THE BODY IS VIRTUALLY RUST FREE, BUT HAS SOME DENTS IN THE ROOF AND LEFT FRONT WING AS SHOWN. THE CHASSIS HAS NO RUST THRU ANYWHERE.THERE IS A SET OF CHROME WIRE WHEEL CORES THAT ARE INCLUDED AND A NEW PARTIAL WIRE HARNESS. AND EXTRA 3.8 TRANS IS INCLUDED AND SOME OTHER MISC. BITS. PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY AT ALL THE PHOTOS . I HAVE LAID OUT ALL THE PARTS,DID A VISUAL INVENTORY. I KNOW IT IS MISSING THE BUMPERS,REAR TAIL LIGHT HOUSINGS AND HOOD HINGES.

I've now bought this car with the intention of making it into a quick road car along with occassional rally, sprint or hillclimb spec. It is now on its way to Classic AutoSports in Inverkeilor, Scotland for a total rebuild
