this can won XK50 also I have 12 1st place JCNA plates for it ( average points overall 12 shows 99.92) it has also repetedly been NW region champion sports full 'C' specs including original sand cast 2" SU s, driving lamps, wing mirrors,.. this car is MINT to the last ORIGINAL washer!

further detail updates..The car sports a 'C' type head from a late Nov/Dec 1956 Xk140 head # G9398-8S and the S U carbs have a date code of P3..which I believe indicates a March 1958 date of manufacture. The headlamps, driving lamps, sidelamps, wing mirrors and front grille are all NOS original.

It is certainly a replacement in mine, it was present when I purchased the car in 1976..so it has been there for a long time! I wonder if he has my original engine? I can only assume that the other car must have been in California..or at least the sw US at some time in its past.(pre 1976)

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
