Sellers description:
This vehicle was restored by myself about five years ago and I have been using it as my daily driver. It has about 5000 miles since frame off restoration. As a daily driver, I installed radial tires P215/70R16 on alloy rimmed wire wheels. Engine has sand cast 2 inch carbs, head has been modified to C type specs and is also a lead free engine now. The engine was rebiult using mostly .020 bearings and pistons. New valves, guides cam bearings, chains, water pump, radiator, clutch, throw out bearing, stainless exhaust system. New Koni shocks, new gas tank, wiring, top, interiour, side curtains come with the car as well as tool kit. As you can see, a metal tonneau cover is a feature on this car as well as louvered bonnet. All brake components have been replaced with new parts and brake cable as well. This car is not a factory SE model but does have all the features of an SE such as high lift cam, heavier torsion bar and lightened flywheel, by C type specs means larger exhaust valves. There are minor flaws in the paint and so if you were to show it, you would probably get a point deduction for chips and cracks and defects. The side curtains, not shown, are restored. As a daily driver, I have found it to be quite reliable and has proven itself. During the restoration, we replaced the door sills, door post, battery box area and spare tire tray, the usual rust prone areas....it is ready to enjoy !!!
