We are very pleased to offer you today this rare and very early 1951 Jaguar XK 120 open top sports Roadster which is an original U.K. right hand drive car and probably one of the most desirable cars to leave the Jaguar factory. Whether you agree with that or not it was certainly a milestone in motoring history.
This superb example has been privately entered and he informs us that the car was completely restored by Longmates Vintage Restoration Limited in 1995. Since then the car has had very little use but he has told us that it recently completed an entirely trouble free 1500 mile round trip to central France.
The bodywork is exceptionally well presented in British Racing Green and this is complimented by the Beige leather interior trim and upholstery. The vendor informs us that the condition of the car is truly outstanding throughout and he further informs us that the only modification he has made to the car is the addition of indicators which are fitted to the bumpers and so can be easily removed for the purist.
It comes with wire wheels, which are fitted with radial tyres for better handling, a current M.O.T. until this July and there is also current road fund Licence until next year. All in all this car must be one of the best available, it can run on unleaded petrol, and the car will also be driven from Norfolk for the sale.

The auction info says 120 Rdstr but number is Fixed Head. Now in Australia the Elmgreen/McGrath book still shows it as Fixed head. DVLA confirms 669095 is/was PKB 610 and Green - Help !!
