Above auction description:
AUCTION IN FONTAINEBLEAU FRANCE BY OSENAT
12th december 2010
classic car collection
1951 JAGUAR XK120 Roadster
Serial number: 660546
French gray card
The example shown is classically "silver metallic", with a splendid interior in leather and red carpets. It did not succumb to the adoption of son wheels like most, which distinguishes it for being closer to the origin. In addition, the "disc wheels" are more solid and therefore more secure. This XK 120 is still fitted with its distinctive, older exterior chrome wing lights. According to the gray card, it is a second hand. Sold new in England it is one of the few to have been born with the right hand drive. This was transposed to the left during the restoration. The bodywork and paint, the black soft top and the leather interior and red carpets are magnificent. The cylinder head was changed when switching to unleaded. This XK 120 roadster is a highly collectable safe bet.
