Above sellers description:
Sie befinden Sich hier: Angebote // bereits verkauft // Jaguar XK 150 S-Roadster, t831982
Jaguar XK 150 S-Roadster

Modell: XK 150 S-Roadster
Chassis-Nummer: T 831982
Leistung/Hubraum: ca. 195 kW / 265 PS / 5500
Motor: 3.800 ccm
deutsche Erstauslieferung am 19.02.1959 nach Hamburg
Chassis, Getriebe, body matching nos!!
Zustand:

German to English translation by Reno:
On 07 June 1970 the car was parked in the engine room of a factory in Stuttgart Germany and forgotten. The tires were square when they discovered the car after 34 years (see one of the photos)
The car was found with a rare Hardtop (the restorer believes it is a Jaguar factory hardtop).

On 19.02.1959 the car was delivered to the Hamburger dealer as 3.4 liter S model. Until 1965, the engine was changed at least twice in each case with a 3.8 liter S engine. The engine in the car when he purchased it shows welds, therefore the block and the cylinder head were changed. The car was also converted to lead-free. Brakes are from a XJ6.

43 cars of this model were built and only 8 exported to Germany ...

The D-type racing transmission has a manual overdrive, it was overhauled at O/D Spares in Coventry.

The body was overtaken in Göttingen through company Strecker and also painted there, the interior is from Aldridge in England.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
