• Complete with UK registration and Jaguar Heritage certificate
• Upgraded 3.8-litre powerplant with exhilarating performance
• Chrome wire wheels
This XK150 was dispatched to Jaguar Cars, New York and sold to its first owner, R.Y. Gibson of Prairie Village, Kansas, on 1st October 1958. Originally finished in Cotswold Blue with a matching blue soft top and red interior, it was later repainted to the striking red exterior with contrasting tan top and interior that it wears to this day. Additionally, it was upgraded from the standard 3.4-litre engine to the more powerful 3.8-litre unit.
It is clear from the condition of the car that it has been well maintained. The engine bay is clean and tidy, the trim is in very good condition and the performance is exhilarating, benefiting from the additional power afforded by Jaguar's established 3.8-litre engine. With its chrome wire wheels and gorgeous presence, it is the perfect roadster with which to enjoy a sunny day along the coast.
