Seller Pendine Historic Cars
Sellers description:
This is a famous XK. Chassis T825064DN competed in sprints and hill climbs every year from 1965 through to 1985 and is currently very well set up for fast road or competition use. The engine is a fast, powerful 3.8 engine with an ex works head, six branch exhaust, balanced crank, along with a competition clutch and lightened flywheel. Sitting purposefully on Aston Martin wheels with Pirelli tyres, power is channelled through a Limited Slip Diff. The competition overdrive guarantees comfortable long distance cruising whilst the uprated suspension ensures you can really attack a twisty B road. The trim is exceptionally original (the original seats comes with it separately), and whilst the bumpers have been removed for competition, they accompany the car. The first of the two long term owners bought it in February 1964 with 34,500 recorded miles, the second and most recent bought it from him in 1982. Paperwork extends back to 1962, including a green buff log book and rare handbook.
A really super, original and significant XK and one of only 115 Right Hand Drive Fixed Head Coupes built. GBP 125 000
