Desirable 1960 Jaguar Fixed Head Coupe. This car is presented as a great car for restoration since many of these cars were stripped of parts while this one appears to have everything but the bezel for the transmission selector, which is available new. Although it was built on October 11, 1960 it was sold and titled as a 1961 and the clean Ohio title is in the name of the seller. When we picked up the car all we really did was rinse the dust off, blow out the interior debris and organize the various parts that came with the car to show the true condition of the car as is. According to the Jaguar Heritage Trust build sheet it still has its original colors of black with an original red interior with an original matching numbers cylinder head and block. The engine compartment appears to be all original and not missing any components. The engine turns over by hand with no attempts to try and start it which may cause more damage than good. The 4 wheel disc brake system is complete. To be expected there is some rust repair that needs to be done but all repair panels are readily available. All the body panels, doors, bonnet and boot lid appear to be original and fit very well. There are no signs of a previous accident. All of the exterior bright work appears to be there, the side window glass moves up/down and the glass framework is in very good condition including the front and rear window chrome trim which irreplaceable.The interior appears to be complete although it may need some leather hide conditioning! All joking aside, the important thing is that all the parts appear to be there and can be reused. In the boot is many spare parts, right rear turn/stop light assembly, glass "Jaguar" complete backup light assembly and other miscellaneous parts that came with the car. From what I can tell the car was last on the road in the 2003 time period. The story I got was that the original owner of the car parked it on the second floor of an industrial business that when the owner retired the business changed hands and the car was sold to the previous owner. The previous owner had it stored inside a heated building for roughly 5 years with intentions of restoring it, but life got in the way and I purchased the car. The car rolls freely and steers, emergency brake works. This car is sold with a clear Ohio title in the seller's name.

28th August 2024: This car is advertised for sale on eBay in Bristol, England, for £20,000 starting bid. The car is still Black/Red, and is in the same condition as per the photos from July 2023. It's a LHD FHC Automatic, and seems to be matching numbers still.
