Car now offered at, previously said to be in the Netherlands:
www.marreyt-classics.com/stocklist-detail.php
Seller's description:
This XK150 Drophead Coupé with chassis number S838305DN is one of just 264 examples to have been delivered new in left hand drive configuration and with an overdrive – as the Jaguar enthousiasts will have deducted from the DN suffix. Sixty years later, its matching numbers 3.4 litre engine still provides the smooth power that these twin overhead six cylinder engines are famous for. The gearbox shifts precisely, and makes for excellent cruising thanks to the responsive overdrive. Never restored, but always well maintained (as shown by the booklet containing almost 25 years of detailed notes), this XK150 is still in its original colour scheme of cream (with an older light respray) with a black interior (retrimmed in leatherette many years ago).
The best part about this Jaguar, is that it offers diverse possibilities: either you see it as the perfect opportunity to acquire a classic British icon at a very reasonable price, and you drive it as-is. Or you see it as a rock-solid, very healthy basis to build your dream XK150. You can also choose the middle road, and start out by driving it in its current condition, and then bring it to the desired level of perfection as you go.
So, which option do you choose?
Price: 98.500 Euro

Auction description:
Jaguar XK150 DHC 1959.
This wonderful XK is still in original unrestored condition with a beautiful patina and signs of wear. More and more, unrestored, untouched classics are valued instead of restoring them, which usually means a lot of originality disappears.
This one comes with a logbook from the owner in San Francisco, which contains a lot of maintenance history, the engine was overhauled in 1979 for example. Therefore, the mileage is from that moment on.
The Jaguar has been in the Netherlands for a while and is well maintained, drives and shifts fine, the overdrive is fine as well.
The engine runs quietly without any funny noises, the brakes have been overhauled recently, the Jaguar also has disc brakes with new Blockley vintage tires.
The clocks were overhauled a short while ago as well.
The seats and upholstery of the convertible top are all still original.
The bodywork is in very good condition without damage or rust (California climate).
The Jaguar is originally cream-coloured and has been repainted on the outside in the past, the paintwork has a beautiful patina, and chips caused by rubble.
The bottom is original with a good straight chassis.
The boot is untouched as well, bare spots have been treated with Owatrol.
The spoke rims have been treated and painted black recently.
So it comes with a valuation report, Heritage certificate and a logbook.
In short, a great Jaguar which is very reliable and a joy to drive.
