1959 jaguar XK 150 drophead convertible this a black plate ca car with original engine/trans and been parked for approx 18yrs until just recently the car runs and drives good gas tank has been recently drained and cleaned two new batteries have been installed the body is straight chrome is good interior is very nice but the seats are vinyl and should be leather there is some rust in the bottom of both battery boxes only the car is rock solid everywhere else the engine and cyl head #s match the # on the factory vin plate located on the firewall the air cleaner assembly is missing i bought this car recently from a public auction but can no longer afford to keep it i was told the car has been in one family since new and the mileage was actual although i have no records with the car, previous to the car being sold at auction it was last registered 18 yrs ago it has been painted once in its life and is showing its age in places the soft top rear window has yellowed and needs to be replaced this a zip out piece the steering wheel has a crack in one of the spokes and has been repaired overall this a good solid car that looks good as is for a driver quality car.
