Very nice original XK-150 DHC, number matching, well cared for and garage kept and only driven on special occasions. This vehicle has a very nice patina of originality. It has original documented mileage.. The car is scheduled for comprehensive restoration which will include complete repaint, color sand and buff, engine and transmission rebuilt, new interior, top, boot, rubber seals, and chrome. The 3.5 engine was rebuilt to factory specifications matching and calibrated with new pistons, bearings, valves, guides, seals, timing chain, head completely rebuilt, rebuilt carburetors, clutch, all new brake parts, drive shaft balanced, restored shocks, part of the chassis and many other parts powder coated, new suspension, the under carriage will be rebuilt, new wire harness, gas tank restored and epoxy sealed, rebuilt fuel pump, all electrical components, gauges, knobs, switches rebuilt, rescreened or replaced, top bows and seat frames powder coated, replaced stone guards, new triplex windshield, new drip panels, new exhaust system, rear end completely rebuilt as well as the transmission. The body will be stripped to bare metal. New rubber seals, grommets and gaskets. Brightwork replaced or replated. New interior carpet, dash, and seats. A DVD movie of the full restoration will accompany the car.

The 1960 Jaguar XK-150 DHC being auctioned on Ebay now is a project car for restoration. Classic Showcase would like to contract to restore this Jaguar for the winner of this auction. The auction price will not include the restoration cost. The restoration cost if the winner wishes to contract Classic Showcase will be determined with the customer to the level of restoration they desire.
Description
This vehicle is a spectacular candidate for restoration. It is a matching numbers, engine, transmission, body and chassis. It is also an original California car. The engine had been rebuilt as well as the braking system by the previous owner. The vehicle comes with new interior which includes the upholstery for seats, carpet set, new panels, new convertible top and liner as well as the header bow. The car appears to be complete although it might be missing a few parts but nothing substantial should be missing. The chrome is good and serviceable as is. The body is also solid and easy to prepare for paint..

Classic Showcase bought the car for restoration because it was so original and in great restorable condition but we have so many projects scheduled ahead of this one that we will not be able to get to it for a while.
