1958 Jaguar XK 150 3.8 Drophead Coupe
ESTIMATE: $70,000 - $80,000
CHASSIS NO: S837510DN
The beautiful 3.8 liter XK 150 Drophead Coupe we have the pleasure of offering here is a stunning car that benefited from a complete no-expense-spared mechanical and cosmetic restoration in 2001. The concours winning restoration was executed by marque specialist,
Tourist Trophy Garage of Louisiana for its New Orleans based owner. Receipts in excess of $20,000 highlight the extent of the engine rebuild while other work included a new gas tank, clutch, wiring harness, master cylinder, springs, wipers/motors, fuel pump as well as a host of other mechanical items.
Cosmetically, the Jaguar also received an impressive amount of attention with work executed including a new red leather interior, black mohair top and silver painted wire wheels. Following the restoration the Jaguar was debuted at the New Orleans British Car
Day where it was awarded a Best in Class and subsequently declared Best in Show. We understand the car has been driven only sparingly with less than 100 miles on the odometer since the restoration’s completion. This is an excellent example and accordingly we encourage close examination.

The beautiful 3.8 liter XK150 Drophead Coupe we have the pleasure of offering here is a stunning car that benefited from a complete, no-expense-spared mechanical and cosmetic restoration in 2001. The concours-winning restoration was executed by marque specialist Tourist Trophy Garage of Louisiana for its former New Orleans-based owner. Receipts in excess of $20,000 highlight the extent of the engine rebuild, while other work included a new gas tank, clutch, wiring harness, master cylinder, springs, wipers/motors, fuel pump and a host of other mechanical items.
Cosmetically, the Jaguar also received an impressive amount of attention, including a new red leather interior, black mohair top and silver painted wire wheels. It comes complete with a jack and spare. Following the restoration, the Jaguar was shown for the first time at the New Orleans British Car Day where it was awarded a Best in Class award and subsequently declared Best in Show. We understand the car has been driven only sparingly, showing little more than 4,100 miles on the odometer since the restoration’s completion in 2001. It has been meticulously maintained and, as such, we encourage close examination.
