Current bid $12,445, no reserve, 3 bids 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1958 Jaguar XK150 3.8L DHC
Chassis No. S837312
Engine No. VA1226-9
Transmission: Automatic
S837312: Offered here is an elegant drop head coupe, fresh from long term storage. As one of very few automatic 3.8L XK150 Drop Head Coupes ever produced, this example is certainly a rare find indeed.
This iconic British roadster is finished in the timeless Old English white over burgundy upholstery, complimented by chrome wire wheels, and driving lamps; displaying excellent fit and finish throughout. The car also features correct “J†headlamps and the optional leaping Jaguar bonnet adornment.
Some time ago, the 150 was the recipient of a comprehensive ground up restoration. Restoration highlights include: rebuilt mechanicals and drive train, fresh full interior upholstery, re-chromed and polished brightwork, as well as body and undercarriage paint.
The favorable 3.8L motor is quite stout, exhibiting strong acceleration and steady idling as the automatic transmission shifts through all gears with ease. As a reliable machine, this Jaguar certainly draws attention with its striking looks, all while offering a pleasant care-free driving experience.
* Very presentable Restoration!
* Matching number's engine and cylinder heads!
* 3.8L Engine!
* A reliable iconic British roadster!
* Fitted with very rare automatic transmission!
Only: $87,500.00

This is either a later engine or a wrong chassis number. VA 3.8 engines were introduced in August 1959
However the body number P 6321 does fit this chassis
This chassis is recorded as in Belgium in March 2007 ????????
