Our vendor purchased this automatic transmission XK150 around 1995 and had it fully restored at Classic Car Service in Wijnegem (Mr De Block). This was an extensive 'bare metal' restoration extending to sandblasting the chassis frame, galvanizing it and repainting with epoxy paint. The whole car was restored in this way (some bills available). Having enquired at the Jaguar Archives, the vendor chose the special colour combination of dark blue with red leather interior, which had been specified by only two customers in period. Only 3,000 miles have been covered since the rebuild, and this beautifully presented Jaguar sports car represents a wonderful opportunity to own and enjoy one of these charismatic last-of-the-line XKs. It should be noted that the accompanying Jaguar Heritage Trust document erroneously records the engine number as 'VA185-9'.
