The Jaguar has been a special kind of automobile since the first built in 1936, offering high performance and roadability at a reasonable price. The XK150 was the fastest production sports car available during 1957 to 1960, achieving over 120 miles per hour in showroom trim. With the famous 3.8 liter, twin-overhead cam engine, 4-speed transmission with electric actuated overdrive and four-wheel disc brakes (first time ever on a production car), this authentic 1960 Jaguar XK150 Fixed-Head coupe had features in 1960 that we would not see in universal use until well into the 1980's. Completely restored by Glenn Shaffer, this car in one of only 334 built!

This car, together with S836659BW and S836657DN, were marked in the factory Car Record Book as “Show Cars”, probably intended for the New York Motor Show, which is believed to have taken place in the NY Colosseum in April 1960.
