Ebay item 3/15/09 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XK-150-FHC-1960-JAGUAR-XK-150-FHC-NO-RESERVE_W0QQ ...
Opening bid $5,000, no bids yet 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1960 JAGUAR XK-150 FIXED HEAD COUPE
********* NO RESERVE ********
Excellent Candidate for Restoration or vintage race car. Large Taillight Model - Rare 9 to 1 High-compression 3.8 Litre Engine with 2 SU carburettors. 4-speed Manual Transmission with Laycock/DeNormanville Electric Overdrive. Numbers Matching - Jaguar-Daimler Heritage Trust Limited Certificate. This car has a clear and clean Washington title.
This vehicle is in need of total restoration. The frame is solid and has no rust through. The body has the normal rust that you discover in a "rust free" Jaguar. There is rust in the lower front wings and battery trays, sills, doors and around the rear wings. The lower spare tire well had the rusty portion cut away, along with the floor pans on each side of the transmission tunnel cover. There is NO rust evident in the front portion of the front wings or on the firewall. There is a small ding on the bonnet (about 3 inches long), and a few dings on the roof of the car. The glass is all there and is not cracked. The lower strip of trim on the front windscreen is missing along with the rear window trim.
About 5 years ago, I gravity fed gas to the carburettors and the engine fired up. It ran smoothly, without any oil or water leaks. I have not run the engine since. The odometer shows 28,810 miles. Obviously I cannot verify this, but the numbers line up so perfectly that it's obvious that it did not roll over or was tampered with.
What's Missing: Spare tire compartment lid, cockpit floors, wing mirrors, rear window trim, gas filler door, lower windscreen trim, vinyl rear compartment trim, rear bumper guards, carpets etc.
What's Included: Front and rear bumpers, gasoline tank, taillight, transmission tunnel cover, rear wings, front bumper valances, horn button, glove box, heater core cover, grill & boot spear badges and badge bar for front bumper. The spare wire wheels shown in photo are included.
The Jag is available for inspection by appoint only before this auction closes in Seattle, WA.

Sellers description:
1960 Jaguar XK150 FHC that is a good car for a complete restoration. It is grey with red interior and has the desirable 3.8 liter engine with manual transmission and overdrive. Car is more than 95% complete. Frame of the car is straight and solid. The body of the car has some rust – there is rust along the rocker panels and along the lower edges of the fenders. Floors and trunk floor of the car were rusted and have been removed. Dashboard is complete with all gauges. Front seats are original. Headliner is in good condition. Engine turns over by hand. Gas tank of the car is off and comes with the car. Car comes with all emblems and chrome neatly packed and labeled. Overall this is a nice car for a complete restoration
