Offered for Auction sale at Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona January 19th-23rd, 2011.
This incredible original Jaguar XK150 received a new paint job, interior, and 15" tubeless style wire wheels & tires from the previous owner. We at British Motors in Orange, Ca, then installed a new wiring loom, brake rotors, front caliper pistons and brake hoses. Rebuilt rear calipers with brass sleeves, fitted new hubs to the front and back wheels, replaced clutch hydraulics, timing chains, tensioners, water pump, and the thermostat. The carbs have been rebuilt, generator overhauled, and voltage regulator replaced while all fluids have been changed, overdrive filter cleaned, ball joints replaced, rear springs replaced, Koni Shocks fitted; front and back, A-arm busing's upper, and rh lower replaced, water hoses, battery, and fuel sender have also been replaced. The rubber has been renewed around the car, and proper radio installation followed the conversion to negative ground. This fully functional car enjoys an SS flex fan by XK's unlimited and factory fan shrouds that keep it cool in the summer, as well as consistent, outstanding oil pressure.
