Car was at auction in '03
www.british-car-auctions.co.uk/pdf/Lot52-Dec03.pdf

Sale of Vintage, Classic and Collectors Motor Vehicles & Automobilia To be held at Blackbushe, Surrey Monday 1st December 2003 JAGUAR XK150 COUPE
On offer here is an export model which returned to Britain around fourteen years ago. Remaining in left-hand-drive form, the car is finished in Indigo blue and retains its original light grey leather interior trim. Mechanically all is believed to be satisfactory, the wire wheels having been re-built in the past, and a stainless steel exhaust system fitted. The engine is a 3.8-litre unit believed to be in E-Type tune, whilst the cooling system has the benefit of a Kenlowe fan.
During the past few years the car has seen very little use and is offered for sale with a V5 document and MOT certificate valid until September 2004.
Estimate: £13,000 - £14,500

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
