I am the owner of S834973DN, a full matching numbers LHD XK150 SE FHC, manual with overdrive, originally Cream with a Black interior.
Built in December 1957, it was shipped to Jaguar Cars New York in January 1958.
I have no information about its life in America - can anybody help, please?
By 1990 it had returned to England and had been changed from Cream to BRG. British registration number CSK872, last taxed 1994.
It was then imported to the Netherlands in 1994/1995 where I believe its restoration took place, still in B.R.G. and always with a Black interior. Dutch registration number DL-64-30.
Still within Holland, it was sold to my previous owner by the very prestigious "Gallery Aaldering" (Brummen) garage in 2013.

In November 2015 I bought it from a small Jaguar specialist - "Jagpoint" in Soesterberg, one hour from Amsterdam.
I brought it back to my home in South West France by road... ...it suddenly stopped on the autoroute/motorway/highway in the middle of nowhere in Belgium. Despite the fuel gauge showing "ΒΌ" it had in fact only run out of fuel. I later discovered that it did not have the right sender for the fuel gauge - and that in addition the warning light was not even connected. Since then I have spent a few thousand Euros and especially an awful lot of hours sorting out a lot of little things - but love has no price! French registration number DY-401-MS.
