Jaguar XK 150 FHC 1958 This is a top-restored car which is not offered for sale every day ....... Chassis number: S834840 Odometer shows: 17111 miles Last Veteransynet in DK: 24. 07. 2018 Last registration number in DK: DT71349 Information from current owner: Here is some information about my XK 150. The car was produced in December 1957 and sold to Jaguar in the United States. The car has driven in California according to reg. certificate from the United States in Newport Beach, Los Angeles. The car was imported to Denmark in 1988 by Jaguar House, Johan Bendixen, Frederikssund. The car was then sold to Hjørnegaard Aps in Viborg in 1993. First registered in Denmark in January 1994. The car is a matching numbers car, except that a 5-speed gearbox is fitted. Original gearbox is available and can be included with the car. I bought the car in November 1996. It is then on Danish records. I unsubscribe it as I then have my Healey under restoration. The car is then seen and registered again in 2000 and I drive it for 5 years. The car is then separated for cosmetic and mechanical repair. All paint has been removed from the body down to shiny metal. There was only a need for rust repair of the front lower right headlight housing and a plate of approx. 10 x 10 cm at the bottom of the right door. This is totally everything that is made of rust work on the car. Due to the good condition of the body and the fact that the car was undercarriage treated, the body was not removed from the chassis frame. All chassis parts have been removed for cleaning, inspection and painting. The sump for the motor has been removed for cleaning and checking the main bearing. Valves adjusted on motor. Carburetors cleaned and fitted with new rope. set as well as mounted and adjusted. The engine is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox from Toyota Supra. This, combined with the fact that the car was born without overdrive, and thus has higher geared rear gear, means that the car in 5th gear is highly geared and thus provides very comfortable speed when driving on the highway. Furthermore, the front brake calipers and discs have been upgraded so that the car brakes significantly better than standard, where it has relatively small brake pads both front and rear. Incidentally, the Jaguar XK 150 was the first standard car to have disc brakes on all 4 wheels. In connection with the body renovation, the car was epoxy primed and a very careful painting work was done. New leather interior was fitted in the car and front seats were replaced with bucket seats. The car is finished after restoration in the summer of 2010 and has since been on several long trips to southern Germany, England and Scotland, as well as used for pleasure driving in general in Denmark.
