Asking price AUD$ 27,000.

Sellers description:
JAGUAR XK150 FHC
A very early build car shipped to New York in white with red trim. Car was imported in 1989 and went through a number of owners. I bought the car painted in dark blue and on closer examination was not happy with the paintwork. A decision was made to soda/sand blast the car which uncovered a number of prior repairs which are unsatisfactory. These will need to be professionally repaired prior to painting. I have treated the chassis with black POR15 and the interior of the body with grey POR15. The external panels have a light coat of primer.

The original disk brakes are with the car. I have upgraded the fronts with DBA rotors on custom hats and Volvo calipers. Planned to use XJ6 calipers on the rear. Have new master cylinders.

The engine has apparently been rebuilt - it turns freely - and there is a 5 speed Supra manual box attached including replacement bellhousing. An XJ6 cylinder head has been fitted and there are two sets of inlet manifolds and a total of 5 SU's.

The exhaust and wiring loom look new. The radiator looks as though it has been repaired. There are two front grilles, one of which looks new. One of the two bumpers looks to have been rechromed; the other requires doing but looks straight. There are two new overriders and two originals.

There is almost no trim with the car. Have sourced two XJS seats for use of runners/frames. Some of the internal door fittings including window regulators are missing; two MkII doors are included. Instruments are there but have not been tested.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
