Opening bid $10,000, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1958 Jaguar XK150 fixed head Coupe.

This car looks to be complete and is in sound restorable condition.

The chassis is in good condition with surface rust but no major corrosion. The front of the car is in very good condition with excellent bonnet (hood) and front wings (fenders). There looks to be no evidence of corrosion to the front of the car only surface rust. Even the wired edge to the front wheel arches are still intact.

The front bulkhead, the roof and the boot lid (trunk) are also in good condition with minor surface rust to the bottom of the boot lid. The sills (rocker panels) are in poor condition and will need replacing. The rear inner wings, the door slam panels and the front section of the rear outer wings will also require repairing or replacing. The boot floor panel has also suffered from corrosion and will also need replacing. Both doors have also corroded along their bottom edges.

The glass in intact except for the two door drop glasses which are flat, readily available and inexpensive.

The car looks to be very much complete, all the major components are there but I cannot say for sure whether or not any small items are missing.

The wooden frame work in the back of the car and on the back of the front seats looks like a previous owner's attempt at a customised interior.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
