I represent the owner selling this Jaguar. My background is 46 years of XK 140 ownership plus 20 years as the Norwegian Jaguar Club's XK registrar.
This Jaguar was bought new in Norway and is in an excellent and gently patinated original matching numbers spec/condition.
The 20 year old repaint after a body overhaul is still in a very good condtion in its original Cotswold Blue colour.
The leather interior is in its matching grey shade, has a replacement inner material and is in a good condition bar one hole in the passenger seatback.
The ceiling material plus smaller interior details and rubber seals have been replaced.
The wooden steering wheel allows better comfort, but the original wheel is available.
The new wiring harness from Auto Sparks is in its correct woven spec.
The 3.4 litre engine has been overhauled, starts momentarily and runs smoothly with its overhauled carburetors and new stainless steel exhaust. Full oil pressure, needless to say.
The engine compartment is untouched, but with the owner's background as head of a bespoke fire engine supplier this XK 150 has had close technical attention.
The overdrive makes this a long-legged car.
Newly overhauled discbrakes on all four wheels.
Fly-off handbrake.
New fueltank.
New rear suspension.
New Koni double-action shock absorbers.
New batteries and spark plugs.
New 15" chrome wire wheels. The original 16" wire wheels are available. The new owner can decide choice of new tyres for which wheel rims.
2 bespoke brown suitcases for this luggage compartment are included.
Full underseal protection done.
Owner's handbook and workshop manual included.
This is the XK version that had all the neccessary corrections for this Jaguar two-seater series.
