1960 Jaguar XK 150 Roadster Restored XK with E-Type genes!
In December 1979, a German company board bought the Jaguar from the original owner in Ohio with original 43,277 mls. Between 1980 and 1983, the XK was disassembled and meticulously restored. Among other things, the frame and body were galvanized, photos occupy the bodywork. Engine and transmission remained original because of "best condition".
In November 1984, the XK was sold for the purchase of a Jaguar C-type with 43,300 mls. The new owner had the engine overhauled in the fall of 1985 at 44,850 mls and, in addition to numerous other improvements, installed a longer rear axle ratio. In 1999, the consignor acquired the Roadster with 61,500 mls, making it the fourth holder after 40 years of car life! In 2004 he rearranged the cat, respectively on. He has an outdated 3.8-liter straight-port engine installed. The head number R 3724-9 outet him as a washable E-Type part with 265 hp from an early model. Wider 205/70 tires on 6 "spoke wheels bring the power to the tarmac, modern four-piston brakes enable secure holding, a leather steering wheel secure grip. The heavy car demands powerful grab, rewarding the experienced driver with breathtaking performance. The XK was used at various classic car events, thanks to technical improvements always reliable. A well-groomed supercar whose performance potential is far beyond what one would expect from a 60-year-old sports car. Despite power in abundance, he can cruise quite supple, just a cat.
