Opening bid $69,000, no reserve, no bids 5 days left in auction. Buy it now price $86,000. Car now said to be in Houston, Texas. 82k miles.

    Sellers description:
JAGUAR XK 150 S831033: From my research and a review of prior owner's documents, this car was built in late August or early September, 1958 and first sold and registered in 1959. This car has a 3.4 engine with manual four-speed transmission and is an all-matching numbers car. It was originally a California car and was stored from 1979 until October, 1997. The car had 82,020 miles when purchased by the prior owner in 1989 and was restored in 2005. I purchased the car in 2010 and the odometer currently shows 82,920, which is believed to be the actual mileage. It is a beautiful and well maintained example in Carmen Red exterior with Biscuit leather interior. The paint was recently wet-sanded and shot with multiple coats of clear. A specialist classic Jaguar mechanic has just finished going through the car, rebuilt all disc brakes, and carbureators, replaced the starting carbureator system as original and performed miscellaneous work as needed. All systems are in good working order other than the gas guage and horn which are not operable. The body is rust free and appears to be accident free. All chrome is show quality and the knock-offs and spoke wheels are in excellent condition.. The car starts immediately and the engine sound with stainless dual exhausts turns heads.

This XK 150 is a beautiful example and, with minor effort, can be elevated to prime show-car quality. It presently is an extremely nice driver. I am selling the car due to a move to New York City.

Car to be at auction 8/13
    www.auctionsamerica.com/events/feature-lots.cfm

    Auction description:
    1959 Jaguar XK 150 Roadster
Restored in 2005 by previous owner
    82,920 original miles
    With recent cosmetic freshening
    Correct drivetrain
    Inline 3.4-liter six-cylinder engine
Beautiful presentation, Carmen Red with Biscuit leather
    Wire wheels and blackwall tires
    Four-wheel disc brakes
    Radio and heater

This XK 150 (S831033) was built in July 1958 and was apparently first sold and registered in 1959. It is powered with a 3.4-liter engine and manual four-speed transmission. The car starts immediately and runs very strong with effortless shifting through all four gears.

The car is Carmen Red with Biscuit leather interior and shows 82,920 miles on the odometer, which is believed to be original. This car was stored from 1979 until October 1997 and the prior owner, who had a stable with a number of classic cars, indicates it was restored in 2005. The car has its correct drivetrain components with a rust-free and accident-free body, a stainless exhaust, new gas tank and new brakes. The chrome is in excellent shape and the five wire wheels appear to be new with the restoration. The top is also in good condition.

This classic is the highly desired roadster model and will serve as an excellent example in any classic sports car collection.
