Description
This XK150 "S" OTS CR, is one of the most beautiful and genuine XK150 on the market. In contradiction to most of the XK150, this car is fitted with its original engine, gearbox, rear axel, differential, chassi and body. All matching numbers from the factory. The only "modern" feature mounted on this car is an Electric Cooling Fan, a modern Brantz Rally Computer and a LED Rain Tail Light. It comes as a turn-key race/touring car with multiple spares including a new Brian James fully covered trailer. For other items included with the car, see further information below.

Factory CR (Competition Racing) 1958 Specifications, include: LSD differential. 4+1 Moss-gearbox with a manual Laycock de Normanville hydraulic overdrive. 2 X adjustable track-rods and 1 adjustable Panhard rod on rear axel. Straight 6-cyl DOHC 3,4 liter with 3 X HD8 51 mm SU Carburettors. The engine is tuned to offer maximum torque and makes the car to a wonderful touring and endurance racing car. The car is also fitted with a fast filling fuel-cap on the rear deck. It comes with two sets of seats. One set of Comfortable folding seats (red genuine leather) and one set of racing bucket seats (black genuine leather). Two version of safety belts are included (original two-point belts in grey and a set of 4-point OMP racing belts in black).
Original XK150 "S" DOHC Engine (# VS1069-9), 3,4 liter.
This car have the original engine since new. In 2015-16 the engine was completely restored and overhauled by Trendab Motorsports (Sweden's leading classic car restorer) and was tuned and blue printed in the laboratory and performed 253 hp @ 5380 RPM. The maximum torque was 351,8 Nm @ 4100 RPM. All parts in the engine was retained if possible or replaced with periodic correct parts corresponding to the manufacturers specifications and tolerances.
Original interior including two options of seats.
The car have two options of complete seats. Original seats, doors- and dashboard trim in red and periodic correct light grey leather. The racing seats are bucket seats with black leather trim. Floor covers are made of black fabric.
The cockpit folding soft hood is made of high quality black mohair. In addition there are black cockpit cover with stainless steel fittings and fastenings. All with a perfect and periodic correct matching and fitness.
Brian James Race Car Carrier/Trailer.
This sale include a large new Brian James Trailer including all recovery equipment and spares for the trailer (including spare electrics, brakes and wires).

The complete package of spares including a multitude of high quality spares such as 4 spare brand new chromed wire wheels with new Micheline tyres (totally 9 complete wire wheels), brake discs and pads, original Dunlop braking callipers, extra track-rod steering, additional electric wires, new spare start motor, new spare alternator and loads of other items (original as spares).
The S830506DN was delivered new to the Music Conductor "Jerry" Martin Goldsmith (Beverly Hills, CA) in August 1958 by the Jaguar Dealership in New York. The car was manufactured on May 21, 1958. Goldsmith was sadly passed away in his house in Beverly Hills 2004.
