Additional information from above '00 auction:
Colour BLUE
Trim Colour TAN
Chassis No S830370
Engine No V3823-8
Registration UN-REG
M.O.T AUG 2001
This original left hand drive and unconverted 1958 XK150 Roadster originally started life in San Diego, California and we have been informed by the present owner and vendor that the car was an ideal car to restore as it was in very good rust free condition.
It has been subjected to a ú15000 refurbishment and it is now finished in Blue and has been re-trimmed in Tan, by a Rolls-Royce specialist trimmer, and in the history file there are various receipts and some recent invoices from Ken Bell, a respected Jaguar specialist.
XK150 roadsters are still extremely popular and are becoming harder to find nowadays. This example, which comes with its heritage certificate, is at present unregistered in the UK, but has its C&E 386, and is being offered today entirely without reserve.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
