Additional information from above H&H auction:
This extremely rare left hand drive XK150 Roadster has had a complete frame off restoration to the very highest standard and it comes with photographic documentation, that shows the car of the chassis in bits and pieces, and some receipts but not all because to the latter end of the restoration the bills were apparently paid without VAT. Since the nut and bolt restoration it has covered a mere 770 miles and the owner has informed us that over ú60,000 was spent restoring the car in England. The car is English registered but does not have a current UK MOT but, it does come with the current German equivalent.
If you are looking for the very best for your collection look no further.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
